About Our
Matthew Harris is a Canadian motion graphics artist and art director with over two decades of experience in film and television. He began his career in the early-2000s, contributing to feature films such as Welcome to Mooseport, 16 Blocks, The Incredible Hulk, Man of the Year and IT before transitioning into television where he has built an impressive body of work.
Matthew honed his MGFX skills during his long-running collaboration with the Star Trek franchise, serving as First Assistant Art Director for motion graphics. Working under the guidance of MGFX Art Director Timothy Peel and with the Junction Box Design team, Matthew's Trek work spans 90+ episodes across various series including Discovery, Short Treks, Strange New Worlds and the newest series Starfleet Academy.
His television credits also include high-profile series such as The Expanse, The Boys, FUBAR, and Ginny & Georgia, reflecting his versatility across genres. With the most recently released series The Miniature Wife and the upcoming release of Starfleet Academy Season 2 on the horizon, Matthew continues to reinforce his reputation as a leading motion graphics professional in the industry.
As a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, Matthew frequently collaborates with an extended team of talented colleagues to deliver the full range of creative and technical resources needed to bring your production’s vision to life.
